Program Details
The Advanced Project Management Certification is a live, online program where you have the power to choose the project management courses that fit your needs, interest and time. This 66-hour certification program earns you up to 66 PDUs and can be completed between 3 and 12 months. With our live eLearning environment not only can you learn at your own pace, you can do so without leaving your office.
To Receive the Advanced Certificate Participants must:
Complete two required courses and four of the elective courses (see below)
Pass a short 30-question multiple choice online post-test (70%) for each course
Who Should Attend
APMC® is for experienced project management and senior level managers who want to build on expertise, acquire new skills and go beyond PMP® accreditation. You should enroll in this program if you want to expand your knowledge focusing on today's higher-level strategic project management issues. This program is ideal if you are a PMP®. and all courses in this program earn you PDUs necessary to maintain your certification.
What You Will Learn
The APMC® program is designed to help you deal with complex project management issues you face everyday: from managing risk and quality to managing portfolios and multiple projects.
With IIL, you learn from experts and practitioners. The program focuses on analyzing current best practices from some of the most successful companies so you learn how they manage projects. You will also learn to better identify and plan resources, evaluate project status, accurately forecast project completion, prioritize, and integrate project management tasks and processes.
Who Is Eligible
You must be able to provide IIL with proof that you fulfill the requirements needed to enroll in the program.
The Advanced Project Management Certification program is for project management professionals who fulfill the following requirements. You must have:
Taken IIL's Project Management Certificate Program: The Kerzner Approach® to Project Management Excellence, a 7-day (45-hours online) program OR show proof of taking 45 hours of formal project management training
At least 3 years of project management practical experience
Participants can waive up to TWO courses (required or elective) if they have taken them within the last one-year period from IIL. Please note participants must first take and pass the post-test to have the course waived. There will be a fee of $150 per course for this activity.
Live eLearning Environment
The Advanced Project Management Certification is live and online. As a busy professional, you will value the flexibility and ease the online program offers. This 66-hour certification program can be completed between 3 and 12 months.
The online classes are led by live instructors so you get the benefits of a classroom situation in your office. The classes have a good balance of lectures, discussion and individual exercises to help you develop the skills necessary to effectively lead projects from start to finish.
Requirements
All eLearning Courses require a headset equipped with a microphone. Headsets are available for purchase at www.iil.com/iil/headset.
Worried about schedule conflicts?
Don’t be. The APMC® is offered to you live or recorded. If you cannot attend a live class, simply go to the archived class, anytime—day or night, even on a weekend and you are all caught up.
There are two sessions that are offered to you: during the day between 1 and 4 pm EST and in the evenings between 6 and 9 pm EST. Once again, it’s completely up to you to pick the session you want.
Bring APMC to Your Company
If your company has a group of 12 or more employees to train, the APMC® curriculum can be delivered in a private eLearning class environment. Or, if you prefer the curriculum can be delivered in the classroom—onsite or at the location of your choice. University/IIL participants successfully completing the APMC®
program will receive a University Transcript (upon request)
, a Grade Report and a Certificate of Completion. These documents will meet the requirements of most organizations' tuition remission or reimbursement programs.
