Lean Six Sigma Consulting and Coaching

Our experienced staff of Lean Six Sigma experts provides custom consulting and development based on specific client needs. Below are two of the custom services we offer.

Lean Six Sigma Readiness Assessment
Is your organization ready for Lean Six Sigma?  IIL's validated "readiness assessment" will help you gauge your level of preparedness. This comprehensive assessment will give you benchmark data and the core knowledge to make a sound decision regarding whether to initiate a Lean Six Sigma implementation effort. We will present the results of the assessment to your executive team, complete with a grounding in the fundamental concepts and theories of Lean Six Sigma.

Lean Six Sigma Deployment
IIL provides training and consulting in all organizational roles that are necessary for successful Lean Six Sigma deployment:

  • Executive leadership must set the strategic direction or focus for improvement, communicate clear support for the initiative and hold people accountable for results. Project Champions are the linchpins of successful deployment: they select projects and candidates to lead them, shepherd the DMAIC team through a series of tollgate reviews and remove barriers to the team's success.

  • Black Belts and Green Belts are the project leaders. While both are trained in the DMAIC methodology, Black Belts receive additional training in advanced statistical analysis and organizational change management.

  • The Master Black Belt is a coach, primarily to the Black Belts and Green Belts leading the projects.  S/he can also guide the Champion in the selection of good projects and advise executives as they strive to set strategic direction and measure results.
