IIL "Belt" Courses and Microsoft Project Certifications
While Microsoft has no particular training requirements for candidates taking certification exams, training will certainly help to ensure that you will be able to pass these competency-based exams. Successful completion of an IIL Belt course earns you valuable Project Belt Certification, as well as preparing you in-depth to pass the Microsoft exam that corresponds to the Belt course you completed.

Which Microsoft Certifications does IIL's Belt Curriculum cover?
- Project White Belt® 2010 earns you IIL's Project White Belt Certification and will complement Project Orange Belt® 2010 in preparing you for a new Microsoft credential that is yet to be released. Project White Belt courses are targeted to those relatively new to scheduling.
- Project White Belt 2007 earns you IIL's Project White Belt Certification and complements Project Orange Belt in preparing you to earn your MCTS credential (Managing Projects with Microsoft Office Project 2007).
- Project Orange Belt 2007 is a bit more advanced, equipping you with the knowledge and skills to build, maintain and control well-formed project plans. Project Orange Belt prepares you to earn your MCTS Certification. (Managing Projects with Microsoft Office Project 2007).
- Project Blue Belt® 2007 teaches you how to initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control Enterprise projects using the Project Server Enterprise tool. It also prepares you to earn your MCTS Certification (Enterprise Project Management with Microsoft Office Project Server 2007).
- Project Black Belt® 2007 addresses the management of complex projects using Project Server and Project Professional. It equips you to successfully earn your MCITP Certification (Enterprise Project Management with Microsoft Office Project Server 2007).
