We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to play a key role in our client's online learning initiatives. As a member of the Learning Solutions, Design and Development team you will be responsible for creating new training content or re-purposing of existing instructor-led courses into innovative and engaging online learning solutions.
Responsibilities will include:
Evaluating existing course content to determine the best strategy for conversion to an online delivery format
Meeting with subject matter experts and business stakeholders to ensure that all course content is accurate and relevant
Working with external SMEs within clients’ organizations and with IIL SME’s, and other IIL team members to create original web-based training
Developing design documents, project plans, and prototypes
Developing storyboards and course content
Coordinating the efforts of interactive media developers
The successful candidate will possess:
3+ years experience in the development of online learning solutions
Formal background in adult learning theory, instructional design methodologies, and online learning methods
Excellent writing and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects and juggle competing priorities
Individual will report to the Vice President, Global Learning Solutions.
