Interpersonal Skills Course Developer

Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Course Developer to design and author courses for its expanding Interpersonal and Leadership Skills curriculum. Courses will be delivered in both the ‘real’ and ‘virtual’ classroom environment.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Course Developer in Interpersonal Skills and will possess the following qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years of practical course development experience in the content areas of interpersonal skills and leadership, including, but not limited to, the following:
    • Effective Communication Skills
    • Managing and Leading Projects Across Organizational Boundaries
    • Building High Performance Project Teams
    • Conflict Resolution
    • Negotiating Skills
    • Presentation Skills
    • Stakeholder Relationship Skills
  • The ability to operate in a fast-paced, dead-line driven work environment
  • Familiarity with adult learning theories and prior experience applying theory to support instructional design best practices
  • Ability to research and design training curricula and materials for an international audience
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to participate in needs analysis discussions with clients and internal staff
  • Ability to develop and manage multiple projects and follow through on detailed implementation plans
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint and Word

Salary

Compensation based on experience. Must live in or near New York City.
