Managing Successful Programmes: Overview and Objectives
About the Programme
MSP® programme management brings related projects together to manage their interdependencies. MSP® provides
those responsible for managing programmes with a structure which will help them towards delivering the business
benefits.
This course is a mixture of input and practical sessions, delivered by an APM Group approved trainer with
practical experience in programme and project management.
This course is built around the APM Group syllabus and all the materials are formally accredited by the APM Group.
The goal of this 4-day course is to provide participants with a broad understanding of the “Managing Successful
Programmes” (MSP®) philosophy and how it can be applied to live programmes. In addition, the course prepares
participants to take and pass the Foundation exam on the third day and the Practitioner exam on the fourth day. This
course is delivered using the latest 2007 MSP® manual and syllabus.
About the MSP® 2007 Foundation Exam
- 40-minute closed-book exam
- 50 multiple-choice style questions
- 25 correct answers or more are required to pass (30 correct answers required to progress to the Practitioner
examination level)
About the MSP® 2007 Practitioner Exam
- 2.5 hours – open-book exam (manual only)
- Objective Testing Exam (OTE) multiple-choice questions
- 9 questions
- 180 marks available
- 90 marks or more are required to pass
