Boardroom Briefing
UKAS/OGC/APMG Accredited Training Company Event – Registration 001
Overview
This event provides an introduction to the PRINCE2 Methodology, specially tailored for senior managers. PRINCE2 is suitable for planning and controlling any type of project, regardless of scope or size, and is increasingly being viewed as “best practice” within the UK, Continental Europe and worldwide.
Designed For
Decision-makers and Senior Managers, especially those with Project Board responsibilities.
The briefing is also suitable for any senior manager wishing to understand the basic principles embodied within the method. The event provides a high-level introduction to the method, with a focus on the organisational and control aspects of the Project Board.
Managers will be left with a comprehensive set of questions to pose before initiating a project, or allowing it to proceed to the next Stage.
This event is also suitable for any manager who wishes to gain an appreciation of PRINCE2 and to identify the implications for their organisation or projects, present and future.

Approach
The Boardroom Briefing is delivered by a senior, approved PRINCE2 Trainer/Consultant with practical experience of using the PRINCE2 method over a wide range of projects.
The experience of the Briefing Manager will enable the content of the briefing to be adjusted to suit the specific needs of the attending managers.
Tuning of the briefing may be done in advance and cleared by the customer, but may also be carried out at the beginning, or during the briefing to ensure that attendees obtain exactly what they require from the briefing.
The briefing will be delivered in a style appropriate to the level of attendance and will be fully responsive to attendees’ needs.
Event Details and Costs
The Boardroom Briefing will normally last for one day. But where required, the event can be adapted to meet the needs of attendee managers. About two hours would normally be the minimum time required to deliver a useful briefing.
