1. What hardware and software is required to attend?
Hardware
Windows:
- 2000 (SPI), XP, Vista and Windows 7
- Internet Explorer 6.0, Firefox 2.0.0.6 or later
- 28.8 kpbs or faster internet connection
- P350 MHz or faster and at least 128 MB of available memory
- 800 x 600 or higher display resolution
- sound card
Apple System Requirements:
- Mac OS/X 10.4.4, 10.5.x
- Safari 2.0.1, FireFox 2.0.0.6 or later
- Local Area Network or Broadband connection
- G4 700 MHz PowerPC, 384 MB memory
- Display color depth: Thousands of colors
Software
Centra Software is required. Click here to install it and to run a System Check to confirm your computer meets the required hardware specifications.

2. What type of audio is used for IIL Virtual Classroom courses?
IIL uses Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) for all IIL Virtual Classroom courses. This requires a headset with microphone. (Those attending the free 1-hour webinars are not required to have a microphone.)

3. Where do I login to my course?

4. When will I receive a login & password for my course?
Participants will receive an email with the login & password 4-6 weeks prior to the start of the course. (Those attending the free 1-hour webinars will receive an email immediately after registering.)

5. When will I receive my course materials?
Course materials are shipped 7 days prior to the start date of each class. (Those attending the free 1-hour webinars do not receive materials)

6. What hours of the day are courses available?
To meet the demands of today’s project managers, IIL schedules classes in the morning, afternoon, and evenings. Sessions are also recorded for playback. Recordings are available for 30-days after the last session of your class.

7. I have never participated in an IIL Virtual Classrom course. What should I expect?
Expect to be involved in lively discussions with your instructor and fellow students throughout the class. The ability to raise your hand, laugh, applaud, etc. allows for an interactive and fun learning experience. You’ll have access to your instructor during your class and between sessions, and sessions are recorded and available for you to review for 30-days.
