Microsoft® Office Project and Project Server 2003 Courses

There are four levels of courses which offer incremental education equipping users of Microsoft® Office Project 2003 to utilize best practices in developing, tracking and updating dynamic project schedules. IIL’s Certification is well-established with 2,284 people certified on the Orange Belt level, 836 on the Blue Belt level and 156 people having achieved our Black Belt Masters’ Certificate (as of December 2005). IIL’s White Belt Certification has replaced the previously recommended Microsoft office User Specialist (MOUS) certification.

Orange Belt

Black Belt Professional

Certification
Each of the Orange, Blue and Black Belt courses can be taken with an option to be certified in the course material. IIL’s certifications provide industry recognized value to companies and employers as well as help insure skill-based competencies for students.

Educational Credits
Each of IIL’s Microsoft® Project Belt Courses offers up to 1.2 CEU Credits and 12 PDU Credits. (IIL’s Black Belt course offers 1.4 CEU Credits and 14 PDU Credits).

Which Course Should I Attend First?
The White Belt course is for individuals who are just beginning to use MS Project as a scheduling tool, while the Orange Belt is intended for those who are using MS Project on a regular basis. In the Orange Belt course, participants will learn the best practices of scheduling with Project 2003. Consider the Orange Belt a check up to see if you are utilizing MS Project to the fullest extent.

Both the Blue Belt and Black Belt courses have prerequisites, expecting attendees to have previously taken the Orange or Blue Belt course through any of our delivery methods.
