Role-Based Enterprise Project Management Courses

Is your organization preparing to implement Microsoft® Office Project Server 2003 as an enterprise management tool?

These role-based EPM courses are ideal for preparing organizations and personnel to use the Project Server environment in a manner that is consistent with their role and responsibilities within your organization. As you deploy the EPM environment, this training can be conducted in parallel with the implementation phases, enabling you to train new users and increase functionality over time.

Microsoft® EPM 2003 for Project Managers

This course is designed to offer project managers all of the information they need to effectively build, optimize, and update schedules in the enterprise
environment using MS Office Project 2003 and Project Web Access. They will learn how to manage risks, issues, documents, timesheets and team member updates in Project Web Access. This course is an in-depth intensive workshop intended to challenge the participants with enterprise level scenarios and their execution in the tools.

 
Microsoft® EPM 2003 for Team Members

This course is designed to show project team members how to directly interact with Project Web Access in order to view and update project tasks. Attendees will learn how MS Outlook integrates with PWA, how to handle documents, status reports, issues, risks, and general knowledge of the PWA interface.

 

Microsoft® EPM 2003 for Resource Managers

This course is intended to cover the necessary elements for effective Resource Managemnet in both Project Web Access and Microsoft Office Project. Participants learn how to create and maintain resources, and assign them to projects using both generic and actual resources from the Enterprise Resource Pool. Participants will learn how to capture non-project related efforts and how to track issues, risks and documents in Project Web Access. This course can be tailored to match the role and responsibilities of a Resource Manager in your organization.

 
Microsoft® EPM 2003 for Executives

This course is designed to offer business and PMO executives information they need to effectively support the adoption of the Microsoft EPM Solution within their organization and to view, analyze and respond to project, program and portfolio health indicators and reports using MS Project Web Access 2003.
