Web-based Tool for Identifying and Assessing Training Needs

IIL’s web-based 360º Project Management Competency Assessment provides a framework for determining, measuring and supporting the improvement of an individuals’ performance through the rating of 37 project management competencies assessed by the self, manager and chosen peer, team members or customers. The end result provides a graphical end-user report and the numerical competency rating serves as a foundation to validate and refine career path definition, enhance and measure individual performance development and to measure the effectiveness of competency development interventions.

The tools' built-in level of high flexibility allows IIL to work with clients to customize the framework to meet their unique needs. Customers can choose to work with IIL’s model which is comprised of 37 competencies (mapped to 5 domain areas) each with four different levels of proficiency, or IIL can customize the framework.  Flexible elements are: competencies, assessment questions, proficiency or rating scale, target levels and rater/assessor groups.
