On-Demand Project White Belt® 2010

This is an on-demand course that serves as an introduction to scheduling using Microsoft® Project 2010. This course is entirely delivered online and taught by an IIL certified instructor who will provide benefits of the software, tips to use various features, recommended guidelines, common shortcuts, and how to apply scheduling concepts to manage projects. Course objectives include display and interpret common views of Microsoft Project 2010; configure essential elements of a new schedule; enter and modify a task list and set dependencies between tasks; create a resource list and generate assignments; and prepare your schedule for printing, reporting and sharing. Once you complete the course, you will be given an online exam of 30 multiple-choice questions and have the opportunity to earn IIL's White Belt 2010 certificate.

Study materials include a workbook, CD, and study guide, without the need to internet access. Course objectives include learning how to: define key scheduling concepts and terms; display and interpret common views; set dependencies between tasks; and prepare the schedule for printing and reporting. Once you complete the course, you will be given an online exam of 30 multiple-choice questions and have the opportunity to earn IIL's White Belt 2007 certificate. The self-study course will take approximately 20 hours to complete, after which you should plan on spending additional time preparing for the online exam.

Project Orange Belt® 2003 Self-Study Package
If you have a working knowledge of Microsoft Project 2003 and want to deepen your understanding of how to create, customize and format reports, this self-study package is a good choice for you. Study materials include a workbook, CD, study guide, and the textbook Dynamic Scheduling with Microsoft Project 2003, without the need to internet access. Course objectives include learning how to: create a well-formed project schedule; assign resources to tasks; analyze resource utilization; and create project reports analyzing project, resource and task data. Once you complete the course and pass an online multiple-choice test of 30 questions, you will earn IIL's Orange Belt 2003 certificate. The Orange Belt is a prerequisite for any Blue Belt workshop.
