Harold Kerzner


HAROLD KERZNER (Ph.D., MS, Engineering and MBA) is Senior Executive Director with International Institute for Learning, Inc. and Professor of Systems Management at Baldwin-Wallace College. He is an expert in the areas of project management, total quality management, and strategic planning. Dr. Kerzner is the author of the best-selling textbooks: Project Management: A Systems Approach to Planning, Scheduling and Controlling, now in its seventh edition; In Search of Excellence in Project Management; Applied Project Management: Best Practices on Implementation; and Strategic Planning for Project Management Using a Project Management Maturity Model.

Howland Blackiston G. HOWLAND BLACKISTON is Executive Vice President, International Institute for Learning, Inc. Prior to joining IIL Mr. Blackiston was co-founder and President (for 20 years) of Juran Institute, Inc. (a world-renowned pioneer in quality management). Mr. Blackiston is the author and producer of more than 150 multimedia-training programs that have been translated into 16 languages and utilized by thousands of organizations in over 40 countries. He has published numerous papers and has been the featured speaker at hundreds of conference events and television and radio broadcasts all around the world. Mr. Blackiston is a member of ASQ, PMI, The Presidents Association, and is a National Judge for the Blue Chip Enterprise Award. He is Vice Chairman of the Board of Advisors for the School of Engineering at Fairfield University.

Thomas Block THOMAS BLOCK (PMP) is president of Block & Associates. He consults for the International Institute for Learning (IIL) and is a professor at the University of Management & Technology. He is a project management consultant and trainer, author and lecturer, specializing in establishing project offices, project startups, and project intervention.  Mr. Block is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and has a Master of Business Administration from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Business Administration (Accounting) from Canisius College in Buffalo, New York. He is an Executive Scholar at the University of Management and Technology and a visiting corporate Fellow at the George Washington University, International Center for Project Management Excellence. Mr. Block is the co-author (with J. Davidson Frame) of, The Project Office: A Key to Managing Projects Effectively.
