Improving Results with Six Sigma

This 60 minute session session focuses on how participants can use Six Sigma to make substantial and sustainable improvements on business results, customer results, project results or whatever results need improvement.

About This Short Course
Six Sigma has been credited with taking millions of dollars in cost out of corporations around the world while simultaneously improving the quality of products and services.

The biggest myth is that Six Sigma is only for the engineers because of the statistics and emphasis on process control. It is so much more than this and anyone who is responsible for meeting organizational goals through the servicing of customers needs to understand exactly what it is, and why it has been so successful. This session will focus on how Six Sigma has helped hundreds of trained practitioners dramatically improve products and services by focusing on the measurements tied to those areas.

What You Will Learn
  • How Six Sigma helps organizations to dramatically reduce costs
  • How Six Sigma drives substantial improvement of identified results
  • Three things participants can do today to start improving results
  • The Fundamental concepts of Six Sigma that every leader should know

Program Highlights
In this interactive session participants are encouraged to apply the key concepts of Six Sigma to their world.  Through the use of examples the participants will see why improving results through traditional methods doesn’t work as well or as long as applying Six Sigma concepts, tools and techniques.

Who Should Attend
Managers, process experts, or employees at any level who want to gain a clear understanding of how they can utilize Six Sigma to make substantial improvements to key performance indicators.  If your company is looking for the roadmap to quickly and substantially reduce costs while simultaneously improving quality this session will demonstrate the fundamental principles necessary to begin the journey.  If your company has already implemented Six Sigma and you are looking for a way to quickly learn how you can support the initiative, this session will provide some tips.
