Project Server and Project Web Access 2007:
New Features and Benefits

About This Short Course
This 90 minute session is designed to give a clear and concise overview of the new features in Project Server 2007. There will be brief demonstrations of selected features in this Enterprise Project Management system.

What You Will Learn
You will be made aware of the new features of Project Server 2007. You will be able to make a preliminary determination if upgrading to the 2007 release might benefit you and your organization. You can ask any questions at the end of the session.

Who Should Attend

Project managers, program managers, portfolio managers, project office members, project office managers, project directors and executives. The presentation is targeted at anyone who may be involved in decision making or using Project Server.

Program Highlights
You will see live demonstrations as they will be given during regular courses. You can ask questions to the presenter by text chat or by microphone (if you have one) at the end of the session. You will receive answers from experts who have been in the trenches themselves. People who register for a course can earn a certificate that will enhance their career opportunities. Course participants are actively encouraged to apply the knowledge gained to real-world challenges in their own work environment.

About IIL's Microsoft Project Curriculum
IIL’s certification curriculum has been recognized by the following organizations:

  • Microsoft: has adopted IIL’s White Belt certification as the certification of choice for MS Project 2007 users. This replaces the MOUS-certification used in earlier releases.
  • PMI: http://www.pmi.org/info/PDC_SW_Home.asp where you will see that PMI offers our MS Project Certification Series in their Seminars World. Also, you will qualify for 1 PDU for attending this short course.
  • ACE (American Council on Education): the council accredited our certification curriculum which means that you can get (elective) credits at universities with your IIL-certificate.

About the Presenter
Charlie Ashmore (PMP), a trainer and consultant for IIL, has 25+ years experience in project management as a business owner, consultant, and project manager. Although Charlie has successfully managed many multi-million dollar projects through his own project management firm, he now focuses on PM and Microsoft Project training/consulting, delivering these services across many different industries.
