Instructor: Roy Schilling
Duration: 12 hours
Historically, the selection of the most appropriate project management approach has been a choice of “either/or” when it comes to Agile and Waterfall. It is now becoming clear that for many projects, the selection of a single approach does not satisfy the efficiency of the project team, nor does it optimize return on investment for the sponsoring organization. A different strategy is needed. This course will present a hybrid approach which capitalizes on the individual strengths of the Agile and Waterfall approaches. You will be introduced to project scenarios which require combining aspects of both approaches. (In this course, the Waterfall approach will be based on A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) / predictive life-cycle.)
