About Lisa Wilkes Hershman

Lisa Wilkes Hershman is a global expert in business process reengineering and an internationally acclaimed author, lecturer and seasoned business professional. As Acting CEO of Scrum Alliance, Lisa serves as a global ambassador for Scrum, the fastest-growing, most popular Agile framework in the world. She facilitates teams within Scrum Alliance that are transforming the world of work, and is a conduit for collaboration among Scrum Alliance, its trainer and coach community, and its hundreds of thousands of members worldwide.

She is the founder of The DeNovo Group, a global consulting, training and research firm focused on leadership and innovation through process management and redesign. She regularly presents to global audiences, drawing upon her experiences with a client list that includes household names such as BMW, Pfizer, PepsiCo and State Farm Insurance.

Hershman has been featured addressing current trends affecting women in the corporate world for Fortune Magazine and She served as the chairwoman of Avnet, Inc.’s Executive Women’s Forum, as a national secretary of the Business and Professional Women’s Foundation, and as a commissioner on the Indiana Commission for Women. She currently serves as a board member for the Center for Interactive Learning and Collaboration, the Consortium for Advanced Management International and the Richard G. Lugar Excellence in Public Service Series.

Hershman earned her degree from Clarkson University, studying engineering and industrial distribution. She has also studied innovation with MIT and IMD in Switzerland.
