About the Program
Practicing Project Management is a unique training opportunity.  Why is it unique?

First, it is unique because this workshop is not a conventional training program. Practicing Project Management is a three-day experience, during which you and your team members will work on and produce deliverables for either:

  • Real projects selected from your own environment (on-site courses only); or
  • A case study provided with the course materials.

Second, it is unique because we provide an electronic package of PM “Tools To Go,” which can be customized and to produce some of the key project plan deliverables for projects you run during and after the workshop.

Third, it is unique because an experienced IIL project management consultant will not be there to lecture, but rather to guide your team throughout the workshop. You’ll learn practical and creative ways to ensure a successful and speedy project launch.  You’ll discover methods for identifying clear project objectives. You’ll apply many ideas and concepts from other project teams participating in the workshop. And you’ll develop a new skill set for leading your own team.

At the conclusion of Practicing Project Management, your team will have a clear understanding of and commitment to a set of project plan deliverables.  You will also have your very own set of “Tools To Go,” which can be used to support a high level of performance on future projects!

Benefits for Your Team
