What is an online conference?

IIL's online conferences are designed to deliver the same benefits as in-person events (inspiring speakers, valuable takeaways, networking, and plenty of "aha" moments) without the high cost or time away from work. Enjoy a unique, interactive learning experience from the comfort and convenience of your home or office.

Can you walk me through the experience?

You will join the online conference via desktop, laptop, or mobile device. After logging in, you will enter the lobby area where you can easily access different spaces of the event:

  • KEYNOTES - Attend scheduled keynotes with live Q&A on opening day (sessions are archived)
  • VIDEOS - View on-demand video presentations
  • RESOURCES - Download collateral and informational documents
  • HELP CENTER - Receive support for any technical issues you have while interacting in the virtual event
  • LOUNGE - Communicate and network with attendees
  • EXHIBITORS - Visit the sponsors of the event
  • BADGES - Track the badges you’ve earned by completing certain activities

What is International Project Management Day?

International Project Management Day (IPM Day) is an annual day of recognition for the achievements of project managers and project teams around the world. It is always on the first Thursday in November.

The IIL team has planned and delivered an International Project Management Day event every year since the idea was first introduced in 2004.

When can I log in and how long will I have access?

The conference will go live on Thursday, November 5, 2020 @ 8:30 AM ET. After that date, you will have access until February 7, 2021 at 11:59 PM ET. Early access to IPM Day is on November 4, 2020 @ 7:00 PM ET.

How can I log in to the conference?

You can log in via your laptop or desktop computer, iOS, Android or Windows mobile device.

All registrants will receive an email with login details one week before the conference opens. We also send out an email reminder one day before. To ensure delivery to your inbox, please whitelist IIL@theonlinexpo.com.

What are the technical requirements for the conference platform?

To make sure your computer, internet connection, and sound are ready to go, take a moment to test your system or device in advance.

How many PDUs can I earn and how are they aligned with the PMI Talent Triangle®

You will be able to earn up to 26.0 PDUs by participating in the keynotes, presentations, and two online courses at IPM Day. As we are building out the program, we strive to provide PMP® credential holders with at least 6 PDUs in each category of the PMI Talent Triangle® (Leadership, Strategic & Business, and Technical); however, please keep in mind that final allocation is subject to change.

Complete information about the PDU Talent Triangle assignments, durations, and Activity Numbers will be available to attendees in the RESOURCES area of the event.

What are the free courses and how do I register for them?

You will be able to register for the courses on IIL’s website, free of charge, using a special promo code. This promo code will be available in the RESOURCES area of the event, along with step-by-step instructions for registering.

Please Note:

These courses are delivered through IIL’s Learning Center, which is separate from the online conference platform.

You have 60 days to complete each course, so we recommend registering for one at a time.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with login information.

How much does it cost to attend the conference? Do you offer group pricing?

Individual registration is USD $59 when you register before November 5.

After November 5, registration is USD $79.

Where do I use my promo code?

You will be able to apply your promo code during the final step of the checkout process, right before you submit your order.
