Academic awards for graduate and undergraduate students
In support of spreading the knowledge and skills of project management, IIL has teamed up with the Project Management Institute Educational Foundation (PMIEF) to help educate the world’s future project managers. Partnering with PMIEF, IIL created the Dr. Harold Kerzner Scholarships to demonstrate our commitment to creating learning opportunities for students. We are very pleased to contribute to PMIEF's Building Better Futures campaign through funding these merit-based awards.
The philanthropic arm of the Project Management Institute (PMI)®, PMIEF is a not-for-profit organization that champions project management knowledge and skills for educational and social good. Founded in 1990, PMIEF provides scholarships, confers awards, sponsors research, prepares and disseminates project management-related educational material and awards financial grants to support project management life skills and humanitarian programs.
Growing the Field of Project Management
IIL created the Kerzner Scholarships in 2008 in honor of Dr. Harold Kerzner and the enormous contributions he has made to the profession of project management. Four annuals awards in the amount of $7,500 are given to deserving graduate or undergraduate students studying project management at degree-granting colleges and universities.
Receiving a Kerzner Scholarship can help an aspiring project manager achieve an education that might otherwise have been unattainable. The scholarships can open doors and create possibilities for the future.
