Shannon is an executive leadership coach, team facilitator, and organizational consultant who draws on more than 20 years of experience in education and business. Rising to the C-suite of a large Crown Corporation as Chief Human Resource Officer and Vice President of Product, she led people strategies for multiple multimillion-dollar business transformation programs. A seasoned organizational change leader, she advised the President and CEO on people and culture and sponsored a corporate-wide culture shift that delivered rapid, measurable results.

Guided by a niggling in her gut, Shannon chose to step off the CEO succession path, which ultimately led to the creation of Red Chair Ranch, a place where leaders come to reconnect with who they are and how they lead. There, she partners with horses as co-coaches, grounded in her belief that leadership starts from within and is expressed through presence, courage, and choice. Through the unique setting of Red Chair Ranch, Shannon designs and facilitates powerful learning experiences for leaders and teams that build trust, deepen clarity, and unlock performance. She integrates traditional executive coaching and team development with equine-facilitated learning, creating transformational experiences. Whether online, at client sites, or at the Ranch, she guides individuals and teams to explore leadership from the head and the heart.

Shannon is a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) through the College of Executive Coaching and holds a Certification in Equine Facilitated Learning and Coaching (EFLC) from the Academy for Coaching with Horses in Colorado. She earned a Master of Education (Adult Education) from the University of Manitoba and an Executive Certificate in Management from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University.

Her book, Who You Are Matters – A Woman’s Guide to Making Brave Decisions, will be released in 2026.
