About Blanka Pillár
Blanka Pillár is a Hungarian writer-poet, artist, activist, and the founder, and editor-in-chief of The Globe Review. In 2024, she became the first Hungarian recipient to receive the prestigious Diana Award, which honors young people under 25 for their impact to effect positive change in their communities and in the world.
Her work has appeared in over 30 literary journals and in The Los Angeles Times. In 2024, her original interdisciplinary research was published in the peer-reviewed academic journal Jakobsleiter.
