SAFe® Scrum Master

In this two-day course, attendees will gain an understanding of the role of a Scrum Master in a SAFe® enterprise. The SAFe® Scrum Master course explores the role of the Scrum Master in the context of the entire enterprise and prepares attendees to successfully plan and execute the Program Increment (PI), the primary enabler of alignment throughout all levels of a SAFe organization.

All course materials are included with the workshop, which includes the workbook and exam.
Depending on the course and the modality, you will either receive hard copy workbooks or access to an electronic download.
Yes. However, one attempt at the official certification exam is included in every Scaled Agile training workshop fee. You will only receive the official certification if you take and pass the corresponding exam.
No. Recording any courses, both in the traditional classroom and the virtual classroom, is strictly prohibited by Scaled Agile.
No. Per Scaled Agile policy, all days/sessions must be attended in order to qualify for the exam.
A certificate of course completion will be available for download in the Scaled Agile Community Platform after the course has ended and attendance has been verified.
Exams are administered by Scaled Agile.
Exams are closed-book and are made available online, outside the classroom, upon verification of course completion. These are taken within the Scaled Agile Community exam platform.

No. All exams are taken online, outside the classroom.
This information can be found within the course description for each program. Information will also be included in the Welcome Letter you will receive prior to the course.
A learning plan will be assigned to you after IIL has verified course completion. An email will come directly from Scaled Agile regarding your learning plan. Additional information can be found in the Scaled Agile Community FAQ – How do I access my course exam?
Exams are available for 30 days from the course completion date.
Initial results will be available to you immediately after you submit your completed exam.
Exam results will be displayed on your screen immediately after you complete all exam questions and click the submit button. You will receive an email from Scaled Agile within 24 hours regarding your results and next steps.
After you have passed the certification exam and results have been validated, your official certificate will be available for download in the Scaled Agile Community Platform.
You must contact [email protected] for any questions regarding retake procedures and pricing. Scaled Agile will charge a fee and a waiting period for each retake.
