Fantasmagoria is a POV about a pair of up-and-coming Latino Filmmakers, and brothers, Arturo and Roy Ambriz. Cinema Fantasma is a film and video production company founded by the Ambriz Brothers in Mexico City. Since its inception, the Ambriz Family has worked hard and diligently to achieve greater and greater heights.
Cinema Fantasma has produced a wide range of videos: from commercials for the NFL and Vice Week Mexico, Music Videos for independent artists, bumper shorts for Adult Swim, Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon, to a full animated series in partnership with HBO Max LATAM, with many other projects on the way like their upcoming feature-length film “The Ballad of the Phoenix” starring Gael García Bernal.
This POV is a behind the scenes profile Cinema Fantasma, with interviews with the Ambriz brothers and their father, project manager Rodolfo Ambriz. They will discuss and explore the grueling and arduous process of stop motion animation, and how project management allows this small, passionate team of filmmakers to bring their magical worlds to life.
