How to Build a Better Business Case
for Infrastructure Projects

With James Ballingall

About the Webinar

All around the world, there is a growing infrastructure “gap” between the infrastructure that people have and the infrastructure they need. It is broadly acknowledged amongst lenders that the biggest obstacle to bridging this gap is the lack of well-developed and commercial “business cases” or project propositions that lenders can have confidence in.

This session introduces you to best practices in the development of business cases or propositions for infrastructure – following the G20 best practice – and will reference guidance, templates, training, and exams.

What You Will Learn

After this one-hour session, learners will be able to:
  • Understand the importance of preparing a business case
  • Recognize the core components of a business case using the “5 case model”
  • Learn where to find detailed guidance and training on developing or reviewing business cases

This webinar will provide up to 1.0 PDU.
